About the role

The ideal candidate will be a collaborative, self-driven software engineer with exceptional software development and optimization experience. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining software for biomedical and diagnostic systems, developing GUIs for detection and analysis systems, developing mobile applications, implementing and optimizing software for real-time control and data acquisition, analyzing customer and internal requirements, and participating in continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain software for biomedical and diagnostic systems.
  • Develop GUIs for various detection and analysis systems.
  • Develop mobile applications to interact with the hardware and APIs.
  • Implement and optimize software for real-time control and data acquisition.
  • Analyze customer and internal requirements and specifications and translate these into software requirements and designs.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers, process engineers, biomedical engineers, and lab team.

Requirements

  • Experience developing visually appealing, user-friendly applications.
  • Ability to develop iOS applications using Swift that are capable of using advanced hardware features such as BLE, audio and video processing.
  • Knowledge of Web APIs, styling techniques (including SASS) and related infrastructure.
  • Understanding of UI/UX complexity and balancing it with technical feasibility.
  • Good understanding of system design, hardware and software architecture, hardware and software integration.
  • Experience building and scaling cloud applications using AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Practical skills in GitHub CI/CD workflows for Mobile and Web-Applications.
  • Experience with building medical grade software or another regulatory environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering; 5+ years of experience.

Pay

$110,385 to $151,808.
