Senior Applications Lead - Defense

Responsibilities

• Identify and shape crucial applications for quantum computing in defense
• Collaborate with Business Development on strategic initiatives and customer engagement
• Engage with senior officials and strategic partners in the defense sector
• Translate defense priorities into viable quantum application opportunities
• Develop customer-oriented materials that highlight the company’s capabilities
• Work with technical teams to assess project feasibility and define scope
• Oversee selected defense engagements, managing projects and stakeholder communications
• Define the company’s defense applications strategy and development roadmap

Qualifications

• Significant experience in U.S. defense industry or national security
• Ability to obtain and maintain U.S. Government security clearance; active TS/SCI preferred
• Ph.D. in a relevant technical field (physics, engineering, applied mathematics)
• Familiarity with quantum computing and high-performance computing technologies
• Excellent communication skills for creating customer-facing materials
• Self-starter with strong collaboration skills and adaptability

Pay

$164,000 – $192,000 annually
