Senior Applications Engineer

Primary Job Responsibilities

• Specify key MOSFET parameters for DC/DC converter
• Validate the performance of power devices in DC/DC converter
• Gain customer and application knowledge and understand power MOSFET usage in end application
• Benchmarking of competitor's parts and writing promotion materials such as evaluation report, application notes
• Evaluation board built up
• System simulation model built up

Qualifications

• MS (Ph.D preferred) in Electrical Engineering
• Knowledgeable in power conversion topologies, power device, magnetics and control loop design
• Lab skills in using Oscilloscope, function generators and test equipment
• Experience with Matlab/Simulink, SIMetrix, Pspice/Ltspice, Ansys simulation
• Good communication skills
• Team player

About the Role

This position will work with cross functional teams for power MOSFET product definition, validation, promotion and trouble shooting.
