Role and Responsibilities
- Participate in all aspects of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing, deployment, and production support
- Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using RPG within an enterprise ERP environment
- Ensure production stability by managing code migrations and supporting 24/7 manufacturing and warehouse operations
- Maintain and enhance system integrations between core ERP platforms and internal/external applications, including APIs and interfaces
- Develop and execute test plans in QA/UAT environments to ensure data integrity, system performance, and successful deployments
- Partner with operations and engineering teams to identify automation opportunities and improve system efficiency and performance
Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Strong proficiency in RPG
- Experience working with ERP systems, including customizations and system integrations
- Hands-on experience including version control, testing, and production support
- Strong understanding of QA/UAT and production environments to ensure system reliability and uptime
