Senior Application Security Engineer

For our client, a leader in the Enterprise Technology space, we are seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery, working across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical solutions.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

About the role

This position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment. You will report directly to the Head of Application Security.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate AI-powered agents for automating remediation tasks
• Drive closure of vulnerabilities alongside development teams
• Act as a security champion across the company’s engineering teams
• Triage and prioritize security findings from various scanners
• Integrate security validation into CI/CD pipelines
• Support audits for SOC 2, PCI-DSS, HIPAA, and others

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience building AI agents or automated workflows
• Working knowledge of software vulnerability classes and CVE remediation
• Understanding of the software development lifecycle and security integration
• Ability to communicate security findings in developer-friendly language

Pay

$100,000 – $130,000 annually
