About the role

At Schneider Electric, we’re seeking an Application Engineer to lead the design, configuration, testing, and execution of advanced PCA solutions tailored to customer needs. This role involves working on complex projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and promoting Schneider Electric’s Safety-First culture.

Responsibilities

  • Work on Complex Projects: Design, configure, test, and execute advanced PCA solutions tailored to customer needs.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Sales, Project Managers, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Promote Schneider Electric’s Safety-First culture in every aspect of your work.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems.
  • 4+ years of experience in Protection, Control, and Automation projects.
  • Knowledge of Schneider Electric’s LV/MV power systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of: Power systems and protection schemes, Protection relays and relay-based ATO schemes, Testing protocols for feeder, transformer, bus differential, arc flash, and motor protection.
  • Experience and proficiency in communication protocols: Modbus, DNP, IEC61850.
  • Experience executing complex relay-based ATO schemes over IEC61850.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and mentoring skills.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically.
  • Familiarity with Schneider Electric’s Medium and Low Voltage systems is a plus.
