About the role
This role is for a proposal and will be contingent upon proposal award scheduled for September 2026. The position will be a remote role.
Responsibilities
- Ensures the stable operation of the in-house computer software systems and network connections.
- Plans, develops, installs, configures, maintains, supports, and optimizes all network software and communication links.
- Analyzes and resolves end user software program and connectivity issues.
- Provides end user training.
- Uses the DLA Account Management Provisioning System (AMPS) to request access to JAMMEX.
- Provides recommendations on technology direction to align with business vision.
- Provides both local and remote maintenance support to various operational systems deployed at more than one location.
- Supports includes general maintenance, upgrades, and new installs of servers and applications.
- Applies advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing applications, and ensures fault tolerance.
- Performs vulnerability management.
- Ensures that the system is available to its authorized users upon demand, and that it operates securely and efficiently.
Requirements
- Experience with Drupal, JBoss, and Solr.
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, with six years specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, and four years concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
- Applicable Application Administrator certifications, per the DLA Approved Cybersecurity Computing Environment (CE) List.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Qualifications
- IA Level: IAT II Certification.
- Seven (7) years of progressive experience in the field of Information Processing, with six years specialized in numerous specialized Information Processing disciplines involving a range of hardware/software solutions, and four years concentrated, hand-on experience in installing, configuring, maintaining, and resolving issues with various software.
- Applicable Application Administrator certifications, per the DLA Approved Cybersecurity Computing Environment (CE) List.
- Education and Experience as outlined above.
