Senior Appian Plugin Developer- Remote

About the role

This role will lead technical work focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. Responsibilities

• Refactor custom Appian plugins to remove incompatible dependencies
• Redesign plugin components to leverage supported APIs
• Validate compatibility of plugins within Appian Cloud
• Assess and remediate deployment gaps identified during validation
• Implement secure, centralized logging approaches for cloud standards
• Package and deploy updated plugins across environments
• Support regression testing for applications impacted by plugin updates

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional Java application development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience developing and maintaining custom Appian plugins
• 3+ years of experience modernizing or refactoring legacy application components for cloud environments
• 3+ years of experience designing secure integration patterns using RESTful APIs
• 3+ years of experience implementing and configuring modern logging frameworks (e.g., Log4j2, SLF4J)
• US Citizenship or Green Card holder required
• Must be able to obtain Public Trust Security clearance

Pay

$98,614 – $167,644 annually
