Senior and Entry Level Construction Engineering Technicians - San Antonio, Texas

About the Role

Patriot Engineering and Environmental is seeking Senior and Entry Level Construction Inspection Engineering Technicians to work on construction‑related projects in San Antonio, Texas. The position involves performing soils, concrete, asphalt, and reinforcing steel testing, documenting results, and assisting in the laboratory as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform field tests and observations on soil, reinforcing steel, concrete, and asphalt.
• Document and report test results; basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel is required.
• Assist in the laboratory when needed.
• Work overtime and after‑hours as required.
• Be available on weekends based on business needs.
• Travel to job sites as necessary.
• Maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• ACI and/or ICC certifications are preferred.
• Construction experience is a plus.
• Entry‑level candidates will be trained; prior CME field work and certifications (e.g., OSHA) can affect pay rate.
• Willingness to work overtime, after‑hours, and weekends as needed.
• Must be willing to travel.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Pay

$19 – $25 per hour, based on experience.
