At Lighthouse, we’re on a mission to revolutionize commercial strategy as hospitality’s most powerful AI platform. We take the world's largest hotel data network and transform it into real-time intelligence that drives action. With $370M in Series C funding and over $100M in ARR, we are scaling at lightspeed. Our 850+ teammates across 35 countries leverage cutting-edge AI to help hoteliers be the first to act. Tens of thousands of hotels across 185 countries trust Lighthouse to execute their commercial strategy.

About the role

You will design and build trusted data models across Lighthouse's commercial and financial domains — modeling deals, accounts, and opportunities for go-to-market teams, and supporting revenue, retention, and churn analysis for finance. You will own delivery end-to-end from requirements through implementation and documentation, use AI tools responsibly to accelerate your work while remaining accountable for output quality, and collaborate closely with commercial, finance, and analytics stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Model deals, accounts, regions, products, and expansion opportunities to give go-to-market teams a consistent view.
  • Support analysis of revenue, customer lifetime value, retention, expansion, and churn.
  • Act as technical point of contact to speed up decision-making for commercial, finance, and business operations stakeholders.
  • Apply strong SQL, transformation, and data modeling practices to produce maintainable, understandable assets.
  • Translate stakeholder requirements into practical solutions that fit the existing stack, owning the full cycle (functional analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, documentation, and ongoing improvement).
  • Use AI responsibly for coding, solution design, and problem-solving, critically reviewing outputs and owning the final result.
  • Build reliable data foundations that support strategic analytics and AI-enabled products (agentic frameworks, RAG, conversational analytics).
  • Collaborate with sales operations, commercial systems, financial operations, and analytics colleagues to align on data needs and technical direction.

Requirements

  • Senior-level experience in analytics engineering, data warehousing, or a closely related role; ability to operate independently with limited overlap across time zones.
  • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience building robust, understandable data models.
  • Practical experience with dbt or another data transformation tool.
  • Understanding of core data warehousing principles and ability to architect models across commercial and financial domains.
  • Ability to gather requirements, perform functional analysis, and translate stakeholder questions into technical solutions.
  • Ability to work directly with both technical and non-technical leaders, adapting communication to be concise and clear.
  • Basic Python scripting skills or ability to critically review scripts produced with artificial intelligence assistance.
  • Effective and thoughtful use of AI as a supporting tool during development, review, documentation, and presentation processes; ability to question outputs, handle data with care, and remain accountable for work.
  • Understanding of how reliable data foundations support agentic frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation, or conversational analytics.
  • Comfort supporting colleagues and explaining technical needs across teams without formal management.
