Our client is seeking a hands-on technical leader to architect enterprise-scale data solutions with a strong emphasis on Snowflake architecture, governance, optimization, and Snowflake Cortex/GenAI capabilities.
Responsibilities
- Architect, design, and optimize scalable enterprise data solutions using Snowflake and Azure
- Establish and improve Snowflake best practices, governance, permissions, standards, and data management strategies
- Develop and optimize data pipelines, ETL processes, and data platforms using technologies such as dbt, Python, SQL, and Airflow
- Drive Snowflake performance, cost optimization, DataOps, data quality, and production troubleshooting initiatives
- Support and advance AI/GenAI initiatives, including the use of Snowflake Cortex and enterprise AI capabilities
- Partner with business and technical stakeholders across the organization to translate analytics needs into effective data architecture solutions
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineering teams and offshore resources while remaining hands-on
Requirements
- 4+ years of strong data engineering, data architecture, or analytics architecture experience; 7+ years preferred
- Deep, hands-on Snowflake expertise, including architecture, optimization, governance, permissions, standards, and environment setup
- Snowflake Cortex experience/exposure is required
- Strong proficiency with SQL and Python
- Experience designing and supporting scalable enterprise data platforms across multiple business units
- Experience with data warehousing/lake architectures, ETL/data pipelines, and cloud technologies, particularly Azure
- Strong stakeholder communication skills with a professional, business-facing presence
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with dbt, Airflow, Informatica, or comparable data engineering/ETL technologies
- GenAI, LLM, AI copilot, or AI/data platform architecture experience
- Experience with responsible AI, AI security, or enterprise AI governance
- Tableau or other enterprise data visualization/BI platforms
- API development and integration experience
- Experience with SAP or other large enterprise data environments
- Experience working with GitHub, Jira, and Agile development methodologies

This is a full-time, remote opportunity.
Pay
The approximate pay range for this position is $91,000.00 to $130,000.00 annually. Final compensation may vary based on factors including background, knowledge, skills, and location.
