Summary

This position will play a part in leading project planning, governance, business analysis, and execution support for complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role partners closely with business leaders, project managers, business process owners, and technical teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned to strategic objectives. The senior analyst also mentors junior analysts and drives continuous improvement in project delivery methodologies.

The primary purpose of this position is to enrich and advance the delivery of meaningful Workforce Management solutions in support of business objectives. This position is responsible for performing advanced and complex configuration of systems, reporting and analysis of data, and providing cross-functional information to support projects. This position is also responsible for continuously transforming visualizations to support business models. The position will drive initiatives resulting in cost savings and process efficiencies. Researching and analyzing data to identify trends, uncover potential issues, and working with Human Resource Business Partners and other HR functions to develop recommendations. This position will work closely with Information Technology to ensure systems continue to meet the needs of the business, maintain awareness of best practices for Tyson Foods, and identify opportunities for improvement of existing functionality and processes. The position will influence decisions to develop, use existing, or implement new tools in support of business goals. The position will assist with broader execution excellence initiatives and strategy planning. The position is expected to have a broad understanding of legal requirements regarding employment and pay calculations.

Responsibilities

  • Play a lead role in executing the future vision of the shared services delivery model, inclusive of defining user requirements, establishing technical specifications, while enhancing productivity, quality, and customer service standards
  • Drive efficiency and consistency across support functions
  • Ensure the necessary KPIs and SLAs are met to enable the consistent and efficient delivery of our shared services model to all functions of Tyson Foods
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by tracking emerging trends and delivering results to the customer

Requirements

  • Education/Certifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field
  • Experience: 5 years relevant experience or equivalent
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools with special emphasis given to Excel; experience with database query/reporting tools is valued; working knowledge of Workforce Management, specifically the areas of scheduling and time and attendance using SAP/HR and/or Kronos highly valued
  • Special Skills: Comfortable working independently and setting own schedule to ensure priorities are met; experience collaborating with resources to enable project completion; consistently delivers high-quality timely work resulting in highly satisfied customers; background in Project Management; passion for learning; familiarity with Workday and human resource not required but highly valued; team player
  • Travel: 3 to 5 domestic trips per year; travel time may increase during software implementation projects
