About the Job

The City of Colorado Springs is ready to welcome a Senior Analyst - Transit Assets for the Public Works division. As a Senior Analyst for this team, you will manage Transit Asset Plans and Capital Asset Projects. This is a special at-will position funded by a FTA grant received by Transit annually.

Responsibilities

  • Create scopes of work and independent cost estimates
  • Management and oversight of vendor contracts
  • Transit asset inventory and accountability, recording fixed asset acquisitions, dispositions and depreciation, and capital planning
  • Manage the Transit Asset Management and Transit ADA Transition Plans
  • Asset data management and reporting
  • Transit Capital Asset project coordination and oversight
  • Manage work quality, training, instruction, and scheduling of personnel within the Asset Group
  • Track and manage Information Technology requests
  • Review and update policies and procedures
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major coursework in a related area of study.
  • Five years of full-time, professional experience in a related field.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Facilities Capital Project Management experience
  • Experience with contract compliance and quality assurance
  • Experience creating and writing statements/scopes of work and project cost estimating

Work Schedule

This position will be required to provide after hours support.

Pay

$85,525.56 - $102,671.74 Annually. Your starting pay will be within the posted hiring range based on your years of experience and education.

Physical Demands

Exerting up to 10 lbs. occasionally or negligible weights frequently; sitting most of the time.
