Responsibilities
- Translate sales forecasts, promotional calendars, and product launch plans into operational capacity and fulfillment requirements.
- Support mid- and long-range operational planning to ensure alignment between demand, storage capacity, labor, and throughput capabilities.
- Build scenario models to evaluate trade-offs across service levels, cost, labor, and network constraints.
- Identify operational risks and bottlenecks in advance and propose mitigation strategies.
- Support network scalability planning as business volume and complexity grow.
- Partner closely with Channel Planning, Inventory, Supply Chain, and Operations teams.
- Prepare scenario models and capacity impact analyses to inform planning decisions.
- Summarize findings and provide clear, data-driven insights to support operational decision-making.
- Support operational planning for peak seasons, major promotional events, and new product launches (e.g., Seasonal Peak Planning).
- Assess network readiness and highlight capacity, labor, storage, or fulfillment risks.
- Evaluate pre-event capacity plans and contingency scenarios.
- Conduct post-event reviews to refine planning assumptions and improve future readiness.
- Monitor key operational KPIs (service levels, throughput, storage utilization, labor performance) to identify emerging risks.
- Translate performance trends into forward-looking planning adjustments.
- Partner with Reporting & Analytics to ensure planning metrics are clearly defined and actionable.
- Use post-performance analysis to continuously refine forecasting assumptions and capacity models.
- Identify opportunities to improve planning accuracy and support operational scalability.
- Contribute to automation and tool enhancements that improve visibility and planning effectiveness.
- Support development of standardized planning frameworks that can scale with network growth.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, or Analytics roles.
- Demonstrated experience supporting operational capacity planning, forecasting, or network decision-making.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear business insights.
- Experience supporting retail, eCommerce, or wholesale environments preferred.
- Advanced Excel proficiency required; experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, etc.) preferred.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; able to simplify complexity and drive alignment.
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional partners and support executive-level discussions.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Operations, Analytics, or related field required.
