About the Role
We're seeking a Senior Analyst, Marketing Operations to serve as the operational backbone of our marketing technology ecosystem. You'll own the systems, workflows, data, and reporting that connect marketing activity to pipeline outcomes — with HubSpot as your primary platform and Salesforce as your key integration partner. This is a high-impact IC role for someone who takes pride in building things that work reliably at scale, partners well across Marketing, Sales, and RevOps, and brings sharp judgment to prioritization.
Responsibilities
- HubSpot Platform Ownership
- Primary HubSpot admin across Marketing, Sales, and Operations Hubs: configuration, data architecture, user management, and platform health
- Build and maintain automation workflows, lifecycle stage logic, lead scoring, nurture sequences, and list segmentation
- Own data governance: field standards, deduplication, database hygiene, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM
- CRM Integration & Salesforce Alignment
- Own the HubSpot–Salesforce integration: bidirectional sync, lead routing, MQL/SQL definitions, and attribution
- Monitor integration health; resolve sync failures before they affect reporting or sales workflows
- Lightweight Salesforce support — field mapping, reports, RevOps partnership — as needed
- Reporting & Dashboards
- Design and maintain dashboards in HubSpot and Salesforce covering funnel health, campaign performance, pipeline contribution, and MQL conversion
- Own reporting cadences — weekly snapshots, monthly reviews, QBR-ready summaries — with insight-driven narratives, not just raw numbers
- Partner with BI and Finance on metric definitions, data sources, and reporting logic
- Campaign & Process Operations
- Own the operational layer of campaign execution: list pulls, workflow QA, email setup, UTM governance, suppression logic, and post-campaign reporting
- Support ABM operations for enterprise accounts using enrichment and routing tools (Clay, ZoomInfo, LeanData)
- Proactively automate manual processes; document workflows and system configs for scalability
- Cross-Functional Partnership
- Trusted ops partner to Marketing, Sales, RevOps, and Customer Success — translating business needs into system logic
- Help stakeholders scope requests, assess tradeoffs, and self-serve through training and clear documentation
Requirements
- 3–5 years in Marketing Operations, Revenue Operations, or a closely related B2B SaaS or data company role
- Deep, hands-on HubSpot expertise — you design workflows, lifecycle logic, and scoring models from scratch; certifications are a strong signal
- Solid grasp of the HubSpot–Salesforce integration; comfortable in Salesforce for reports, record inspection, and joint process work
- Strong dashboard and reporting skills; advanced Excel or Google Sheets for data manipulation and ad hoc analysis
- Familiarity with GA4, Google Tag Manager, and UTM governance — you understand how campaigns get measured end to end
- Experience with ABM and enrichment/routing tools (Clay, ZoomInfo, LeanData)
- Working knowledge of GDPR, CCPA, and CAN-SPAM as applied to marketing databases
- AI-native working style — you use Claude, ChatGPT, or similar to accelerate operational work and know where human judgment still matters
- Systems thinker with high attention to detail; you treat broken workflows and dirty data as problems worth fixing
- Independent, clear communicator who can translate technical logic for non-technical partners
Note: We view the above section as a guide, not a checklist. We welcome diverse and non-traditional backgrounds — if you're open to building new skills, we'd love to hear from you.
