Senior Analyst, Laboratory Optimization

About the role
The Senior Analyst, Laboratory Optimization drives laboratory efficiency and profitability for Aspen Dental branded practices. This role uses data analysis, operational insights, and best practices to help practice owners make informed decisions, ensuring patients receive the care they need while supporting Aspen’s aggressive growth goals. The position partners with Field Operations and key Laboratory stakeholders to advise on operational planning.
Responsibilities
- Analyze data to drive improvement and produce regular KPI scorecards/dashboards, ensuring relevant data is shared with stakeholders.
- Assist internal and customer teams in identifying, planning, and implementing continuous improvement projects tied to strategic business priorities to produce savings and process improvements.
- Provide weekly, mid-month, and month-end reporting packages (including Territory, Division, and POP Level reporting, AspenLabs Utilization, and Value in Cabinet metrics) to key stakeholders.
- Deliver lab-related data analysis and recommendations based on trends to lab stakeholders.
- Build partnerships with Lab stakeholders and Implementation teams to drive Lab initiative prioritization and operational excellence.
- Partner with Lab leadership to share feedback, trends, and coaching opportunities at the operational field level.
- Drive end-to-end continuous improvement to achieve denture KPI goals.
- Provide strategic feedback and coaching to office teams to enhance initiative performance.
- Develop job aids, email templates, and stakeholder-specific reporting decks (e.g., practice-level performance updates) to support field and lab team execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience managing complex datasets and presenting to executive leadership.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills focused on identifying solutions for customers.
- Financial and analytical skills required.
- Experience using AI to drive efficiency and analysis.
- Experience with PMO software such as Monday.com and Smartsheet.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to balance multiple high-priority initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including executive-level PowerPoint decks, functional presentations, and Excel workbooks.
- Willingness to conduct up to 10-15% domestic travel.
Pay
Base pay range: $90,000–$105,000 annually (actual pay may vary based on experience, performance, and qualifications).
Schedule
This position offers a hybrid or remote work arrangement based on location. Candidates within 35 miles of Chicago, IL (Fulton Market) or 45 miles of East Syracuse, NY must work on-site. Others are eligible for full remote work.
