About the role

The Senior MDM Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of master data at Builders FirstSource. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop, implement, and maintain effective MDM solutions, fostering relationships throughout the organization to gather data and understand its business implications.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with team members to ensure understanding of functional MDM requirements and future strategic directions.
  • Provide functional guidance and support to other team members and stakeholders regarding MDM best practices.
  • Translate MDM functional requirements into technical requirements and design solutions.
  • Participate in solution design and support robust and complex initiatives.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to build master data workflow frameworks and governance rules.
  • Develop and execute complex testing scenarios across systems, integrations, and user acceptance phases.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to MDM processes and data mappings.
  • Act as a liaison to domain data owners to establish necessary data stewardship responsibilities and procedures.
  • Build and maintain enterprise data governance policies and procedures in collaboration with domain owners.
  • Develop tools and processes to improve data quality, accuracy, and consistency across the organization.
  • Track and report adherence to key MDM and data governance metrics/SLAs.
  • Perform data integrity gap analysis and assist with the maintenance of complex golden records across domains.
  • Communicate analytical findings through reports, briefings, and presentations.
  • Facilitate discussions with business users to understand and translate complex business requirements into master data management solutions aligned with business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university.
  • 4+ years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience with MDM methodologies and tooling (SAP MDG).
  • Data governance and data quality experience.
  • SQL skills.
  • Experience with Informatica MDM and/or Enterworks is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base wage listed.
