Senior Analyst, Investment Team (Animal & Environmental Health)

About the role

The Senior Analyst will sit within the Animal and Environmental Health investment team and support the full investment lifecycle, from origination and diligence through execution and portfolio value creation. Reporting to the team's Vice Presidents and Principals and working directly with Partners, the Senior Analyst will own core analytical workstreams and carry direct responsibility for the financial modeling, market analysis and diligence output that inform the firm's investment decisions.

Requirements

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in private equity, M&A investment banking, transaction advisory, consulting or a related analytical role, ideally with healthcare or life sciences exposure
• Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, with demonstrated command of LBO and operating model construction, valuation and returns analysis
• Sound commercial judgment and the ability to structure ambiguous problems, prioritize the issues that matter and reach a clear point of view
• Intellectual curiosity and genuine interest in the life sciences tools and services landscape. Direct sector experience is a plus, not a prerequisite
• Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to distil complex analysis into concise, credible output for a senior audience
• High ownership and attention to detail. Takes accountability for accuracy and moves with pace under deadline pressure
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills. Familiarity with data and research platforms (Capital IQ, PitchBook or similar) is preferred
• Higher education degree in finance, economics, business administration, engineering or a life sciences discipline. Strong academic record required
