Senior Analyst, Investment Banking, Mergers & Acquisitions

About the role

The role is for our dedicated M&A team and based in our New York office.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive financial analysis and create and maintain detailed financial models as well perform valuation work and other relevant analyses;
• Collect, consolidate and interpret company and industry data;
• Financial and written analysis of companies and industries;
• Support transaction execution including coordinating due diligence process and liaising with relevant counterparts at the client/other advisors;
• Prepare client presentations, including compiling data and assembling presentation materials, drafting confidential offering memoranda, management and board presentations and other materials for senior bankers as required;

Requirements

• 2+ years of work experience in Investment Banking, M&A, Financial Services or Consulting;
• Bachelor’s degree; a major in Business, Math, Engineering, Science or something numerate would be beneficial;
• Proven record of outstanding achievement in academic and extracurricular activities;
• Strong quantitative skills focused on financial analysis, accounting and financial theory;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Excellent command of Microsoft Suite, with an emphasis on Excel;
• A high level of attention to detail;
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining a high standard of work, excel under pressure amid demanding deadlines and perform effectively in a team environment;
• High professional standards including a strong sense of personal integrity and teamwork;
• Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to new situations;
• A high level of energy and a keen desire to learn new concepts.
