About the role

In this role, you will direct financial accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, along with expense control, with a focus on adding value and driving efficiency. You will collaborate with offshore resources to create deliverables for Executive Leadership, provide valuable insights and guidance aimed at delivering superior client service, and utilize strong organizational skills to promptly respond to leadership ad hoc requests.

You will work closely with the existing Global Finance team, leaders, and Deloitte firms on ad hoc projects and analysis, including C-suite initiatives, soliciting input and direction, and developing recommendations and implementation plans. Additionally, you will support team-building activities through learning initiatives, knowledge-sharing sessions, networking events, and other areas aimed at expanding our global footprint and strengthening our Deloitte Global Finance brand.

The team

Global Finance provides the most cutting-edge and insightful research and analysis of the financial health of the entire Deloitte organization around the world. We advise, guide, and monitor global initiatives in five major areas: tax, member-firm reporting, finance and accounting, strategic projects, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities

• Direct financial accounting and reporting, financial planning and analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and expense control
• Collaborate with offshore resources to create deliverables for Executive Leadership
• Provide valuable insights and guidance to deliver superior client service
• Respond promptly to leadership ad hoc requests using strong organizational skills
• Work on ad hoc projects and analysis, including C-suite initiatives, soliciting input, and developing recommendations
• Support team-building through learning initiatives, knowledge-sharing, and networking events

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant finance experience, with a specific focus on Financial Planning and Analysis
• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting, with a strong emphasis on analytical and quantitative skills
• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships, establish trust, and motivate teams
• Proficient in presenting ideas and solutions logically and articulately to Senior Executives
• Exceptional research, analytical, and quantitative skills with advanced attention to detail
• Ability to manage projects both independently and collaboratively
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills aligned with organizational objectives
• Comprehensive knowledge of financial activities, including investment and expense oversight
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation and storyboarding
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proactive and results-oriented team player
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed, and dynamic environment with competing priorities and stringent deadlines
