About the role

Reserv is an insurtech company focused on automating claims processes to improve efficiency and set new standards for TPA services. This role involves leading financial reconciliations and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the reconciliation of loss fund payments across client programs, ensuring alignment with claims data, financial records, and bank statements.
  • Investigate and resolve financial discrepancies with internal teams, claimants, and customers.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to increase accuracy, efficiency, and automation within Financial Operations.
  • Document, validate, and enhance procedures related to large carrier accounts and high-severity or high-frequency funds.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen financial controls, reporting consistency, and operational performance.
  • Support a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement within the Finance team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of experience in finance or an analytical role, preferably with a TPA or an insurance company.
  • Experience across multiple lines of business, with a preference for Commercial Auto/Transportation.
  • Strong proficiency in data tools such as Excel or similar platforms, including the ability to work with large datasets and perform detailed reconciliations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex insights clearly.
  • Familiarity with claims workflows or loss fund administration is a plus.

  • Collaborative and comfortable working closely with cross-functional teams and external customers.

  • Microsoft 365 Suite, Tableau or Looker (SQL).
  • Financial reporting and communication applications.
