About the role
The Royal Caribbean Group is seeking a full-time Senior Analyst, Finance & Business Analysis to join their dynamic team in Miami, FL. Reporting to the Lead, Finance & Capital Management, this role plays a crucial part in supporting operational and capital allocation decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Identify opportunities to improve operating performance through rigorous information gathering, financial modeling, and quantitative analysis.
- Support capital project budgeting and forecasting, including annual consolidation, and monthly tracking of project performance versus plan.
- Develop and maintain detailed financial models to evaluate operational initiatives, revenue and cost action plans, and investment alternatives.
- Prepare and analyze project-level and consolidated P&L statements to assess financial performance, profitability, and key drivers.
- Support the development and ongoing refinement of the Company’s strategic plan by providing long-range financial modeling, scenario analysis, and capital allocation insights.
- Partner with Operations and Corporate Planning to support capital budgeting, investment analysis, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze operating results using decision-relevant variables to support management actions and performance improvement initiatives.
- Formulate efficient research plans for analyzing large and complex datasets to support operational and strategic objectives.
- Develop clear and effective management reports using corporate financial systems, including dashboards and recurring performance reports.
- Support special projects and strategic initiatives as defined by senior management, including ad hoc financial analysis and executive-level presentations.
- Complete all procedures in accordance with Company policies and controls, including SOX and other compliance requirements.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Skills
- Four-year Bachelor's or equivalent (MBA preferred); or four to ten years related financial and business analysis experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to work effectively with all levels of operational personnel.
- Advanced analytical skills should include mathematical modeling; broad exposure to operations research, and statistics.
- Advanced Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, Power BI, and MS Project strongly preferred.
- Willingness to adopt and embrace emerging AI technologies to elevate FP&A processes, enhance financial analytics, and deliver innovative, data-driven insights that support strategic business decisions.
