Senior Analyst, Finance - BTS Growth
About the role
The Growth Finance team supporting the T-Mobile Consumer business is seeking a senior financial analyst who excels in quantitative analysis and has experience designing and managing driver-based forecasting models focused on promotional spend and promotional breakage.
Responsibilities
- Refine and develop existing financial models using advanced methods and best practices, specifically for Promotional Spend and Breakage.
- Assist with analysis, design, and testing of enhancements and changes to data and reports.
- Synthesize findings into business drivers and provide recommendations to drive change.
- Develop and manage positive client relationships in a collaborative team environment.
- Cook up and consolidate financial outcomes, reports, and presentations.
- Interface with and provide recommendations to Finance, Product, Marketing, and Accounting partners and leaders.
Requirements
- Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills to meet critical deadlines.
- A strong understanding of T-Mobile’s Beyond the Smartphone Business.
- Experience building forecast models and financial models, with proficiency in SAS, R, or other statistical software a plus.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong working relationships both within the team and cross-functionally.
- Proficient in writing SQL queries to extract and transform data from multiple data sources, including Oracle, Snowflake, and SQL Server.
- Strong proficiency with Excel, including experience with VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, SUMIF functions.
- Experience with building PowerBI dashboards.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantitative Concentration (Finance, Economics, Statistics)
- 4-7 years of Experience in Finance, Accounting, Forecasting, or Budgeting
- Wireless Telecom experience preferred
- Experience with SAP/BPC, Hyperion, or equivalent, and working knowledge of Business Objects, SQL, Database or other reporting tools preferred

Pay
The pay range for this role is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on work location, qualifications, and experience.
Schedule
This role offers a hybrid schedule, combining remote and in-office work.
