Senior Analyst Overview
The SPAR DM Senior Analyst will join the SPAR DM team and will be responsible for supporting the Firmwide Relations Team, providing analytical support to the Firm’s Investment team, and maintaining the highest quality standards of the team.
Core Responsibilities
Support the Firmwide Relations Team by assessing and completing items on the firmwide request tracker, analyzing root causes of requests, and taking steps to remedy any system breaks.
Process escalated items in the core operation space, including cash flows, NAV reconciliations, GP outreach, and client/asset team communication.
Develop deep knowledge of client and asset specific needs to execute resolutions and maintain the highest quality standards of the team.
Identify areas of concern due to insufficient or inaccurate information and escalate appropriate Functional Team Captains and client teams.
Work under deadlines, prioritize tasks, and understand team needs to contribute to the overall success of SPAR private markets data universe.
Support team wide goals and additional reviewer mandate items as needed to support/grow the impact and effectiveness of Global Team.
May serve as local operational leadership, supporting others and improving Global SPAR DM.
Provide ongoing guidance and support for preparers, including mentorship of Junior Analysts.
Leadership and Extended Opportunities
May include specific process monitoring or oversight, providing daily operational direction to the escalations team, and leading/assisting on campaigns or projects.
May involve system updates, analysis of populations, and ad-hoc projects.
May require ongoing training/development to the team and generation of new/updated procedural improvements to benefit the global SPAR DM system.
May involve technical coaching to enhance career.
Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or business preferred.
Significant experience with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
Working knowledge of financial accounting.
