About the role

The Corporate Development Senior Analyst plays a key role in managing and executing Lambda's acquisition and strategic investment activities. This high-impact role collaborates cross-functionally to identify opportunities and execute transactions that support Lambda's long-term vision.

Responsibilities

  • Support the identification, evaluation, and execution of M&A, strategic investments, debt and equity capital raises, and strategic partnerships to accelerate growth, enhance capabilities, strengthen the balance sheet, and expand market reach.
  • Lead financial modeling, valuation analysis, capital structure analysis, and due diligence for M&A transactions, strategic investments, and debt and equity financing activities.
  • Conduct strategic and financial evaluation of M&A, investment, and capital raising opportunities; communicate findings through business case memos, financing materials, and executive presentations.
  • Track industry trends, competitive dynamics, capital markets, and potential market opportunities to inform corporate development and financing strategy, while keeping stakeholders updated on the evolving ecosystem.
  • Develop investment theses, financing strategies, and market analyses to support strategic decision-making, capital allocation, and long-term growth.
  • Identify and cultivate strategic partnerships that enhance our product offerings, distribution channels, technology stack, and broader corporate growth objectives, including relationships with financial sponsors, lenders, investors, and strategic counterparties.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, private credit, or venture capital, ideally with a focus on AI, cloud infrastructure, debt capital markets, and/or restructuring.
  • Strong financial modeling, valuation and analytical skills: specifically, experience building company models, merger models, or project finance / debt financing.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights and drive high-impact decisions.
  • Excellent presentation and communication abilities, with experience presenting to executives and external stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, balancing multiple complex projects.
  • Deep interest in AI, cloud infrastructure, and emerging technology trends—prior experience in the machine learning or GPU computing space is a strong plus.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in the AI, cloud infrastructure, and/or financial services industries.
  • Knowledge of M&A processes, corporate finance, and strategic planning.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position has been set based on market data and other factors. However, a salary higher or lower than this range may be appropriate for a candidate whose qualifications differ meaningfully from those listed in the job description.

Schedule

Presence in our San Francisco or upcoming New York City office location 4 days per week; Lambda’s designated work from home day is currently Tuesday.
