About the role

This role supports and enhances enterprise integration and automation solutions across the organization, managing incidents, delivering enhancements, and participating in strategic projects requiring Workato expertise.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and support integrations and automations using the Workato platform
- Manage and resolve incidents, defects, and support requests assigned through the integration support queue
- Perform problem management activities, including identifying root causes, implementing permanent fixes, and driving system stabilization improvements
- Troubleshoot integration failures, performance issues, and data inconsistencies across connected systems
- Design and implement enhancements to existing recipes, integrations, and workflows
- Participate in project initiatives requiring Workato development and integration expertise
- Design scalable and efficient integration solutions optimized for Workato task consumption, performance, and long-term maintainability
- Build, configure, and maintain Workato recipes following established development standards and best practices
- Support API integrations and API management activities within Workato
- Develop and support integrations involving Reltio and connected enterprise applications
- Develop and support AI-driven automations and Workato Genies
- Promote recipes across environments and manage deployments using proper migration and governance practices
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions
- Ensure integrations are secure, scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise standards
- Create and maintain technical documentation for integrations, recipes, APIs, support procedures, and root cause analyses
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on Workato development experience
- Strong experience building and supporting Workato recipes and integrations
- Experience designing integration solutions optimized for Workato task usage and platform efficiency
- Experience with API integrations and API management concepts within Workato
- Experience integrating or supporting Reltio solutions
- Experience supporting production incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing permanent corrective actions
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills
- Experience with recipe promotion, deployment processes, and Workato best practices
- Familiarity with AI capabilities within Workato, including Genies or AI-powered automation solutions
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, JD Edwards (ERP), Workday, Reltio, or similar platforms
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Experience with manufacturing, sales, and service business processes
- Familiarity with data transformation and middleware integration patterns
- Workato certifications
