This role will focus on tracking and optimizing the performance of our pro sales team by leveraging advanced analytics to drive strategic business decisions and develop, monitor, and adjust compensation and commission plans. You will work closely with sales executives, sales operations teams, and product managers to determine optimal staffing levels, report on and analyze the performance of our sales reps, and identify actions to optimize productivity and profitability. As a key contributor, you will also support priority initiatives and the launch of new tools to improve overall sales efficiency. What You'll Do Build and maintain dashboards and reporting to monitor the performance of Angi’s sales organizationReview business, staffing, and turnover trends and develop forecasting models to determine optimal staffing and hiring levels across Angi’s sales teamsDesign and implement sales commission plans that align with company goals, drive performance, and ensure competitiveness in the marketAnalyze sales performance and compensation data to evaluate effectiveness, identify trends and gaps, and recommend adjustments to optimize resultsDevelop models to calculate the profitability of sales rep activity and make recommendations to optimize sales performanceBuild analytics plans to support A/B testing, evaluation, and launch of new sales strategies, tools, and processesPresent findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data into actionable insights that support business strategy and growth Who You Are Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)6+ years of analytical experience in an e-commerce, marketplace, or home services-related fieldStrong proficiency in SQL as well as data analysis tools such as Python or RExpertise in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or LookerAbility to build complex, but clear analytical models and forecasts in Excel and Google SheetsExperience analyzing and making recommendations to sales and commission plans for a large sales organizationExperience leveraging AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Cortex Code) for automation and daily workflow efficiencyExperience with headcount planning and sales organization support analytics preferredProven ability to develop and apply predictive models to enhance sales performanceStrong communication skills to present complex data to cross-functional teams and non-technical stakeholdersAbility to manage multiple projects independently in a fast-paced environmentExperience in coaching or mentoring junior team members We value diversity We know that the best ideas come from teams where diverse points of view uncover new solutions to hard problems. Compensation & Benefits The salary band for this position ranges from $100,000 - $150,000 commensurate with experience and performance.
