The primary responsibilities of this position include the preparation of financial statements and related disclosures for quarterly and annual filings in compliance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations, and the review of supporting schedules submitted by business units. This role works closely with finance and business partners to help ensure accurate, timely, and well-supported external reporting. Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial statements, including the statement of cash flows, and related footnotes for three public registrants in accordance with U.S. GAAP and SEC regulations
  • Work cross-functionally to obtain and perform due diligence review on information submitted by business units necessary for the preparation of workpapers supporting external financial reporting requirements
  • Demonstrate effective time management to meet internal and external deadlines
  • Assist the Accounting Research team and management on the implementation of disclosures related to new accounting pronouncements and SEC rulings
  • Partner with the Consolidations team to optimize system-generated reports to streamline SEC reporting
  • Prepare quarterly and annual disclosure checklists to ensure completeness of required disclosures
  • Review XBRL data in Wdesk for assigned areas within SEC filings
  • Interface with external auditors to provide supporting documentation as requested
  • Assist with special projects as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college or university
  • Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification or CPA-eligible preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience required
  • Public Accounting or SEC reporting experience required
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements
  • Experience with Wdesk required, BPC and EPM a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word
