About the role
The Senior Analyst, Accounting – Consolidation & Reporting is a highly analytical role focused on driving process improvements, enhancing reporting efficiency, and delivering accurate financial insights across multiple brands and channels within a publicly traded company.
Responsibilities
- Perform and review lease accounting activities, including recognition, modifications, terminations and related journal entries
- Ensure lease accounting is compliant with US GAAP (ASC 842) and is consistent across various brands and entities
- Analyze lease-related balances and ensure accurate reflection in financial statements and corporate reporting
- Drive month-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of lease related components of the financial statements in alignment with corporate close timelines
- Assist with the final review of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting deliverables prior to submission
- Partner with Corporate Accounting and External Reporting teams to support quarterly and annual SEC reporting requirements
- Prepare and provide audit support documentation, including walkthroughs and testing support
- Act as a primary accounting contact for internal and external audits and partner with appropriate teams to ensure completeness of supporting information
- Identify control gaps or process inefficiencies and drive remediation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in system implementations, upgrades and process improvement initiatives
- Support testing efforts for accounting-related projects (e.g., system changes and new processes)
- Validate outputs and ensure accounting accuracy following system or process changes
- Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements to enhance controls and reporting accuracy
- Support process efficiency, data validation and financial insights utilizing data analytics tools or emerging technologies such as AI
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field
- 4+ years of progressive accounting experience, including experience in a multi-entity or publicly traded environment
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP
- Proven ability to partner cross-functionally and communicate complex accounting topics to stakeholders
- Experience in consumer, retail, apparel, footwear, or multi-brand environments
- Familiarity with data analytics tools or emerging technologies
- SAP experience
- BPC experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail with focus on accuracy
- Ability to review and challenge financial data
- Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed organization
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
Qualifications
- Foundation skills needed for this position include:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills

- Knowledge of industry-specific accounting standards and regulations
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Pay
Hiring Range: $64,000.00 USD - $80,000.00 USD annually
