Description
The All-Source Analyst will provide specialized senior-level expertise in multi-Intelligence analysis to retrieve, produce, and exploit standard and non-standard information, developing actionable intelligence products to support the mission.
Intelligence Planners focus on Intelligence Preparation of the Operational Environment (IPOE), emphasizing critical infrastructure, advanced weapons, and C5ISR systems. They are well-versed in systems analysis and capable of coordinating with interagency and partner nation personnel.
- Leverage classified, open source, and commercial data to inform operational strategies, ensuring missions are executed effectively.
- Provide expertise to adapting targeting methodologies, such as F3EA.
- Provide expertise for cognitive and behavior characteristics and support CI analytics for SOF and HUMINT operations.
- Assess global risks and threats contributing to the development of intelligence products.
- Develop and submit intelligence collection requirements to address identified gaps in knowledge.
- Monitor high-volume intelligence reporting channels (e.g., message traffic, HUMINT reports, OSINT feeds) to identify relevant information.
- Evaluate the credibility, reliability, and relevance of incoming source information.
- Create and maintain databases, link analysis charts, and timelines on key targets or topics of interest.
- Fuse incomplete or contradictory information from various sources (e.g., SIGINT, GEOINT, HUMINT, OSINT) into a cohesive assessment.
- Apply structured analytic techniques (e.g., Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, Red Team Analysis) to mitigate bias and increase analytic rigor.
- Author a range of analytic products, from short-form daily intelligence summaries to long-term, in-depth intelligence assessments.
- Forecast an adversary's likely course of action or assess future political, military, or security developments.
- Prepare and deliver intelligence briefings to a variety of audiences, from small teams to senior decision-makers.
- Respond to formal and ad-hoc Requests for Information (RFIs) from customers and other intelligence community partners.
- Tailor intelligence products and briefings to meet the specific needs and level of knowledge of the customer.
Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of all-source intelligence analyst experience at the full performance level, with 5 or more years working for or with strategic level intelligence agencies in the US Intelligence Community.
- At least 10 years of experience and knowledge in intelligence supports special operations. Superior proficiency, knowledge, understanding, and experience with current all-source analytical techniques, theory, methodologies, processes, and tends.
- Demonstrate superior proficiency and knowledge of the current suite of all-source intelligence tools.
- 3 or more years of experience writing formally finished intelligence assessments (e.g., white papers, targeting packages, or other serialized finished intelligence products).
- Deliver formal or informal supervision and mentorship to more junior analysts.
- Reviews the work of others, providing guidance on analytic tradecraft, methodologies, and sourcing to ensure high standards of quality and accuracy are met.
- Deliver direct, tailored analytic support to senior decision-makers, collectors, operators, and investigators.
- Skilled at translating complex intelligence into clear, concise briefings and reports that directly inform planning and operations.
- Works with a high degree of autonomy to tackle difficult and ambiguous intelligence problems.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree preferred in a closely related discipline to intelligence with 10 years of relevant professional experience or 15 years of professional experience in the intelligence career field.
- Active TS/SCI and with the ability to obtain a CI Poly if needed.
