Senior AI Search / SEO Strategist
Blennd is seeking a contract Senior AI Search / SEO Strategist to lead B2B client accounts, focusing on strategy, client relationships, and performance evaluation across multi-channel digital marketing programs.
About the Role
We’re a Denver-based digital marketing agency hiring a senior AI search / SEO strategist to manage multiple B2B client accounts. This is an ongoing, client-facing role requiring 10-20 hours per week, US-based.
The role is a full-stack SEO position (onsite, technical, content, offsite) with a specific need for expertise in:
- AEO / AI search optimization: Current, hands-on experience getting B2B clients surfaced and cited in AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, and other AI answer engines. We require demonstrated methods, not theoretical knowledge.
- Offsite / off-page: Digital PR, link acquisition, and entity/authority building for B2B clients. This is a critical area where we need strength.
The first 2-3 weeks will be a paid pilot on a single client (AEO/SEO audit and 90-day plan). Upon successful completion, the role expands to the full client book.
Responsibilities
- Own SEO and AEO strategy and execution across several B2B clients.
- Build and defend entity authority and earn citations in AI search engines.
- Run offsite campaigns, including digital PR, link acquisition, and authority signals.
- Manage the full SEO stack: technical audits, onsite optimization, and content direction.
- Join client calls and present strategy and results directly (client-facing role).
Requirements
- Demonstrable, current AEO/GEO practice with real examples.
- Strong offsite / digital PR / link-building track record.
- B2B experience (required).
- Full-stack SEO capability (technical, onsite, content, offsite).
- Excellent communication; comfortable presenting to clients as part of our team.
- US-based.
- Ability to commit 10-20 hours/week ongoing across multiple clients.
