About the Role
At Within, we're tackling the hardest and most interesting problem in enterprise today: making AI genuinely useful within real, messy workflows. As a Product Manager, you'll own core AI product areas end-to-end, from discovery to delivery. This is a full-stack builder role where you'll work directly with our CTO, engineering, design leads, and GTM teams to define problems, prototype solutions, and ship impactful features.
Responsibilities
- Define and prioritize core AI product areas, writing crisp PRDs and driving features from concept to production.
- Build working prototypes using AI tooling to validate directions before engineering commits.
- Conduct customer interviews and synthesize field feedback into structured insights.
- Partner with engineering and design teams to make principled decisions and reason through tradeoffs.
- Own concrete product surfaces like Companion, AI Interviewer, Advisor, and the agent repository.
- Set user expectations for probabilistic systems, design feedback loops, and account for model failure modes.
- Define success metrics, instrument features, and present outcomes to the team and customers.
Requirements
- 5-8 years in product management, preferably in B2B SaaS or AI platforms.
- Track record of shipping technically complex products to measurable outcomes.
- Experience building and shipping generative AI features that found product-market fit.
- Technical credibility: comfortable with SQL, API documentation, and collaborating on architecture diagrams.
- Ability to build working prototypes with AI tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code, v0).
- Strong UX intuition and taste, with a focus on distilling customer needs into elegant experiences.
- Customer-obsessed mindset, with the ability to conduct unsupervised customer interviews and synthesize insights.
- Fast, optimistic, and high-slope learner, energized by ambiguity and speed.
Qualifications
- Experience with generative AI, including understanding failure modes, non-determinism, and feedback loops.
- Proven ability to push AI tooling beyond chat and unlock novel use cases.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to write specs that don’t need translation and present outcomes clearly.
Benefits
- Equity in addition to competitive cash compensation.
- 100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision options.
- Paid parental leave.
- $500 annual learning fund.
- $150 monthly wellness fund.
- 401k via Betterment.
- Relocation support to the San Francisco Bay Area (where applicable).
- Office perks: pre-tax parking and transit accounts, curated local lunches, snacks, and a safe bike room.
Compensation Range: $220K - $280K
