Senior AI/ML Platform Engineer

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Build machine learning and generative AI platforms for company-wide use
• Create backend infrastructure for scalable and resilient solutions
• Develop services that expose AI-based products
• Deploy and manage applications in production environments
• Engage in daily coding to enhance platform functionality

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience delivering production-ready products
• Proficiency in writing high-quality code in Python
• Familiarity with modern async Python web frameworks like FastAPI
• Experience deploying applications with Docker and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of relational and low-latency databases
• Experience with RAG-based AI solutions and vector databases
• Familiarity with LLM orchestration frameworks and foundation model APIs

Pay

$143,000 – $197,000 annually
