Senior AI Information Security Engineer

About the role

This role will shape secure AI capabilities that support production workflows, from initial concept through deployment and ongoing improvement. You will partner closely with technical and business stakeholders to design safe, scalable agentic systems while ensuring strong security controls, governance, and operational readiness. The position blends AI engineering, security architecture, and threat modeling with a focus on delivering practical solutions that align with business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Design and build production-grade agentic AI systems and workflows
• Develop and maintain the internal agentic AI platform, ensuring integration and orchestration
• Identify and deliver high-value AI use cases from concept to deployment
• Establish safety patterns and evaluation frameworks for AI systems
• Implement security controls for AI tools and workflows, including data handling and access controls
• Perform security reviews and threat modeling for AI integrations and workflows
• Translate business objectives into secure AI designs and manage project communications

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Data Science, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years in cybersecurity, security engineering, application security, or a related field
• 3+ years in security operations, security engineering, DevSecOps, or cloud security
• 2+ years of hands-on AI/ML development, agentic systems, automation, or data engineering
• Experience with agent frameworks, LLM APIs, and security architecture

Compensation

$170,000 – $180,000 annually
