Senior AI Engineer
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement core components of our generative AI solutions, focusing on building robust, scalable features aligned with an understanding of business requirements
- Collaborate with senior engineers and product managers to understand feature requirements and contribute to the technical design of AI agents and orchestration patterns
- Ensure the quality and reliability of your code by writing unit tests, participating in code reviews, and utilizing our enhanced evaluation framework
- Drive product advancement by actively contributing to the development of RAG pipelines, context engineering modules, and integrations with services like Azure AI Search and Databricks
- Deploy and maintain AI microservices ensuring they meet our high standards for performance and scalability
- Participate actively in our agile development process, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to ensure timely delivery of features
Qualifications
- Minimum three years of recent professional experience in software engineering, with demonstrated experience in building and deploying AI or data-intensive applications
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, statistics, mathematics, analytics or a related quantitative discipline is preferred; Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
- Strong programming skills in Python and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel
- Experience working within an agile environment using SDLC tools like Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines for automated builds and deployments
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Azure, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an excellent ability to communicate technical ideas and collaborate effectively within a team
