Senior AI Developer

About the Role

At FixForm, we’re evolving our intuitive SaaS platform for facility management into a proactive, agentic ecosystem. As a visionary Senior AI Developer, you will lead the transformation of FixForm from a reactive task-management tool into an autonomous AI-driven system. Your mission is to automate the maintenance lifecycle, enabling AI agents to diagnose issues, track compliance, interact with tenants, and coordinate service providers autonomously.

We believe the future of software development is AI-augmented orchestration. You will:

• Build and deploy AI agents that run in parallel with our core SaaS, handling complex reasoning tasks like compliance, reporting, and conversation management.
• Lead development using modern tools like Cursor and Gemini to accelerate workflows, focusing on system intelligence over manual coding.
• Refactor, improve, and scale the FixForm platform using AI, ensuring infrastructure readiness for high-concurrency agentic workflows.
• Blend senior engineering expertise with a product mindset to identify high-value problems, design AI agentic workflows, and oversee implementation and deployment.
• Deliver measurable outcomes for users by addressing real-world inefficiencies with intelligent systems.

Requirements

The ideal candidate is an architect of AI agents with a strategic mindset and a passion for solving complex problems in facility management. You should have:

• Proven experience building autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agents.
• Proficiency as a "Power User" of AI development tools like Cursor and Gemini, leveraging them to outpace traditional development workflows.
• Deep understanding of modern SaaS platforms, including task management, databases, GitHub, and document hubs, with the ability to integrate AI into existing business logic.
• The ability to distinguish between "AI hype" and "AI utility," knowing when to deploy agents versus simpler solutions.
• Ideally, a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience demonstrating analytical and systems thinking.
• A strong interest or professional exposure to Real Estate (PropTech), Facility Management, or Construction sectors, with an understanding of their operational complexities.

Skills

• Must-Have:
  • Experience with PHP (Laravel) and JavaScript (Vue).
  • Experience with Cursor and ideally Gemini and RAG.
  • Familiarity with unit testing and documenting processes/solutions.
  • Solid understanding of OOP, version control, and essential development practices.
  • Experience working with APIs and databases.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience with TypeScript.
  • Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Google).
• Bonus Points:
  • Fluency in Dutch.
  • A passion for facility tech, proptech, or IoT.
