Senior AI Defense Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Lead AI/ML threat modeling, risk assessments, and security strategy.
  • Design and implement AI security controls, guardrails, and monitoring solutions.
  • Conduct AI adversarial testing and red team exercises.
  • Investigate and respond to AI-related security incidents.
  • Secure AI integrations, data flows, and enterprise architecture.
  • Partner with engineering teams to secure Microsoft Fabric environments, including AI, analytics, governance, and data workloads.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and audit-ready documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement of AI security tools, processes, and best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of experience in security engineering, application security, or AI security.
  • Experience securing AI/ML platforms in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
  • Strong knowledge of AI security risks, including prompt injection, model poisoning, and data leakage.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric and securing AI, analytics, and data workloads strongly preferred.
  • Familiarity with Azure security services, Microsoft Entra ID, Purview, and Defender is a plus.
  • Experience with containers, Kubernetes, CI/CD, and modern cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of AI frameworks (e.g., LangChain) and security frameworks such as NIST, ISO, or SOC.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.
  • AI, cloud, or cybersecurity certifications are a plus.
