Work schedule: Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote

In this contingent resource assignment, you will:

Consult on complex initiatives with broad impact and large-scale planning for Software Engineering.
Review and analyze complex, multi-faceted, larger-scale or longer-term Software Engineering challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented factors.
Contribute to the resolution of complex and multi-faceted situations requiring a solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements that meet deliverables.
Strategically collaborate and consult with client personnel.

Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, consulting experience, training, military experience, or education.
Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. (This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.)

Programming: Python, Git
APIs & Application Development: FastAPI, REST APIs, JSON, Pydantic, Spark / PySpark
Data Engineering: SQL, Oracle, ETL/ELT
Data Platforms: Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, Data Warehouse/Lakehouse concepts
Pipeline Orchestration: Data Factory, Airflow or equivalent orchestration platform
AI / ML Engineering: Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, LangChain/LangGraph (or similar frameworks)
Search & Retrieval: Embeddings, Vector Search, RAG patterns
Cloud & DevOps: Azure, Docker, CI/CD (Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions)
Monitoring & Operations: Logging, Monitoring, Alerting, Application Insights
Security & Governance: Key Vault, OAuth, Secrets Management, PII/Data Governance
Analytics & Reporting: Power BI
Documentation & Delivery: Technical Documentation, Runbooks, Agile Delivery
