Responsibilities
- Provide experienced consultation for the large-scale implementation of Agile practices and frameworks, with a primary focus on SAFe.
- Coach and mentor Agile Release Trains (ARTs), Scrum-of-Scrums, and individual teams to improve delivery performance and predictability.
- Facilitate critical SAFe events, including PI Planning, System Demos, and Inspect & Adapt workshops to ensure alignment across the IHT initiative.
- Partner with Product Management, System Architects, and Release Train Engineers (RTEs) to refine backlogs and optimize the flow of value.
- Establish and analyze Agile metrics (Velocity, Burn-down, Throughput, and Flow) to provide data-driven insights to leadership.
- Identify and mitigate systemic bottlenecks and organizational impediments to improve the overall delivery lifecycle.
- Support Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) activities to ensure strategic themes are translated into executable epics and features.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning, psychological safety, and technical excellence within the healthcare technology environment.
Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience leading Agile and SAFe implementations within medium to large-scale organizations.
- Certified SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) certification is required.
- Demonstrated superior knowledge and in-depth field experience in adopting Agile across an enterprise.
- Proven track record of successful large-scale Agile transformations, including launching and maturing Agile Release Trains.
- Strong proficiency in multiple Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP) and their application at scale.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Able to translate complex Agile concepts into practical, relatable guidance for diverse audiences.
