Senior Agile Project Manager

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Agile Project Manager to join our cross-functional delivery team. In this role, you will champion Agile methodologies to drive the successful delivery of complex, high-impact technology and business initiatives within a highly regulated environment. You will act as the bridge between technical teams, scientific stakeholders, and business leaders, ensuring that our projects align with strategic goals, adhere to strict compliance standards (such as GxP), and ultimately accelerate our ability to deliver healthcare innovations to market.

Responsibilities

• Agile Leadership: Guide and coach cross-functional teams (including developers, scientists, and business analysts) in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe) to ensure efficient and sustainable product delivery.
• Ceremony Facilitation: Facilitate core Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Backlog Management: Partner closely with Product Owners to help groom and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring user stories are clearly defined and aligned with business value.
• Risk & Compliance Management: Proactively identify project risks, dependencies, and blockers. Ensure all project deliverables comply with data privacy laws and internal quality standards.
• Stakeholder Communication: Maintain high visibility into project progress through burndown charts, velocity metrics, and executive dashboards. Translate complex technical updates into clear business outcomes for senior leadership.
• Continuous Improvement: Champion a culture of continuous learning and process refinement. Implement feedback loops to improve team velocity, quality, and collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of Project Management experience, with at least 3+ years specifically serving as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager in an enterprise environment.
• Active Agile certification (e.g., Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP), or SAFe Agilist).
• Advanced expertise in Agile project management tools, specifically Atlassian Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the Pharma domain is highly preferable.
• Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) within a validated, highly regulated environment (e.g., FDA, GxP, HIPAA).
• Exceptional conflict-resolution and negotiation skills.
• Ability to thrive in a highly matrixed, global organizational structure.
• Familiarity with scaling Agile frameworks across multiple distributed teams.
• Bachelors or Masters in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.
