About the role

The TRB Trust & Wealth Management Senior Advisor, based in Dripping Springs or the surrounding Hill Country region, will work proactively with clients and prospects to design, implement, and monitor effective long-term investment portfolios. The Senior Advisor will communicate financial planning and investment strategies to team members and clients, support existing clients throughout the investment relationship, and collaborate with banking executives and centers-of-influence to develop new business. The Senior Advisor will serve as the primary contact for wealth management clients across the Dripping Springs and Texas Hill Country region, supported by the broader trust and wealth management team.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with bankers, Trust Officers, and the Client Service Team to initiate, build, and strengthen client relationships
  • Design and manage discretionary portfolios aligned with client investment objectives and portfolio allocations
  • Monitor investment performance and asset allocation, reviewing portfolios with clients regularly
  • Serve as an analytical resource for the wealth management team, including equity, fixed income, and alternative research and manager selection
  • Handle sensitive, confidential, and proprietary information with discretion
  • Build relationships with bank branch employees to educate and communicate investment information in support of banking clients with investment needs
  • Support and promote the Bank’s vision, mission, core values, organizational structure, and policies and procedures
  • Comply with federal and state regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, finance, economics, or a related field
  • 10+ years of experience in a client-facing role in asset/wealth management
  • Genuine passion for investments, financial markets, and client outcomes
  • Knowledge of wealth management, including portfolio construction, investments, trusts, and financial planning
  • Highly focused with the ability to rapidly determine key priorities, communicate them clearly, and align resources appropriately
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for maintaining effective relationships with clients, board members, officers, employees, and community members
  • CFA, CFP, or progress toward designation preferred
  • Clean Form U4 without regulatory disclosures, client complaints, arbitrations, or disclosable settlements
  • Self-starter able to plan, execute, and follow through with minimal supervision
  • Ability to discuss complex solutions in simple terms
  • Ability to remain composed and provide strong, compassionate leadership in stressful circumstances
  • Team player able to work effectively with diverse teams across regions
  • Comfort with an entrepreneurial and dynamic business environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of applications
  • Ability to be physically present in the Bank to perform job duties
  • Series 65 license required, or must be obtained within 60 days of hire
