The Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer | Welding will focus on driving welding process improvements and ensuring high-quality manufacturing standards. This role will support engineering and manufacturing teams to optimize welding techniques and enhance production efficiency.Client DetailsThis role requires a Senior Manufacturing Engineer with expertise in metal fabrication specifically welding to lead projects focused on welding processes, automation, robotics, quality improvements, and manufacturing efficiency while partnering with cross-functional teams across the business.DescriptionSupport and lead manufacturing engineering projects focused on joining, fabrication, automation, quality, and process improvement initiatives.Develop, evaluate, and optimize production processes through testing, validation, and continuous improvement methodologies.Create and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, quality standards, and process specifications.Assist with the implementation, setup, programming, and troubleshooting of automated production equipment and manufacturing technologies.Maintain and update manufacturing data, process documentation, and system records to support engineering and production changes.Lead cross-functional problem-solving efforts to identify root causes, implement corrective actions, and improve operational performance.Evaluate and support the adoption of new equipment, technologies, and capital improvement projects to enhance productivity, quality, and cost efficiency.Provide technical support for daily manufacturing operations and help resolve production-related challenges.Collaborate effectively with engineering, operations, quality, suppliers, and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.Prepare reports, present findings, and communicate recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences.Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.Demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to support evolving business and operational needs.Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.Profile8+ years of experience in a manufacturing, fabrication, or industrial engineering environment.Strong knowledge of metal joining, fabrication, and production processes.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, specifications, and design documentation.Experience working with automation, robotics, or other advanced manufacturing technologies.Technical understanding of manufacturing equipment, production systems, and process improvement methodologies.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and implement effective solutions.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and stakeholders.Experience supporting tooling, fixtures, manufacturing processes, or production equipment within an industrial setting.Proficiency with standard engineering and business software applications.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentJob OfferSalary ranging from $150,000 to $200,000 depending on relevant experience and interviews~10% bonus annuallyAnnual reviews for merit increasesflexible daf PTO, with some flexibility to work from home when absolutely needed (sick, appointments, etc)Health/Medical/Dental/Vision Plans401k matchEmployee Stock Option Program Desired Skills and Experience Support and lead manufacturing engineering projects focused on joining, fabrication, automation, quality, and process improvement initiatives.
