Senior Administrative Assistant - Eddy Visting Nurses & Rehab Association

About the role

Eddy Visiting Nurse & Rehab Association has a unique opportunity for a full time Senior Admin Assistant to work as part of their intake team.

Responsibilities

• Uploads medical information from the hospital EMR into the home health EMR
• Updates the agency’s admission calendar
• Contacts physician offices for agreement to sign home care orders
• Ensures referral information is complete for the admitting clinician
• Creates patient episodes in the computer system
• Covers coordination with the insurance verification and authorization teams
• Reviews Medicare Face to Face documentation from the hospital and follows up if missing or incomplete

Requirements

• Ability to work efficiently, accurately and quickly in a fast-paced environment
• Strong interpersonal skills, excellent computer skills, organization, team player, and strong time management and attention to detail
• Must be able to multitask and follow detailed standard work instructions
• High School Diploma required; Associates degree preferred
• 3-5 years secretarial experience required

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds

Pay

Pay Range: $18.50 - $24.92 Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.

Schedule

This position will work on a Day Shift.
