About the role
The Senior Administrative Assistant supports business operations by implementing and executing administrative processes that ensure the smooth functioning of the office. This role provides logistical, clerical, and operational assistance including managing schedules, handling correspondence, supporting internal inquiries, and ensuring a professional and organized work environment.
Responsibilities
- Implement and execute administrative and secretarial programs and policies that support day-to-day business operations.
- Manage documentation, scheduling, mail handling, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and general administrative support.
- Operate office equipment, manage supplies, and liaise with outsourced service providers to ensure facility needs are met.
- Greet and direct visitors, manage telephone/switchboard reception, and handle general inquiries professionally.
- Aid in the preparation of reports and internal communications as needed.
- Maintain accurate records and data entry tasks to support team operations.
- Participate in administrative process improvements and help drive change initiatives for better service delivery.
- Collaborate with colleagues across departments to ensure alignment and seamless execution of administrative services.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience/qualification.
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Professional demeanor and customer-service mindset.
- Ability to follow established procedures while adapting to new tasks or systems.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently under supervision.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships within the team and across functions.
- Willingness to support change management and continuous improvement initiatives.
