Position Summary

Under the direction of the Senior Activations Manager, the Senior Activations Associate leads the planning, coordination, and execution of public-facing activations, experiential programming, and events across Bedrock communities. This role serves as a project lead responsible for activation logistics, stakeholder coordination, budgeting, permitting, vendor management, and operational execution while contributing to annual activation planning and team objectives.

Essential Functions

  • Lead the development and execution of public-facing activations and experiential programming across Bedrock properties.
  • Lead activation logistics and on-site operations to support successful event execution.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of annual activation strategies, programming plans, and project objectives.
  • Develop project scopes, timelines, budgets, and execution plans in collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder meetings and working groups to support project alignment, communication, and timely completion of deliverables.
  • Track, monitor, and report on project progress, milestones, risks, and outcomes.
  • Manage project budgets, contracts, invoicing, and billing activities.
  • Cooky navigation/legal/EEO/scam-warning boilerplate removed.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, community partners, vendors, and external organizations.
  • Lead project closeout activities, ensuring documentation, reporting, and records are accurately completed and maintained.
  • Research industry trends and recommend programming concepts and activation opportunities.
  • Support broader Experience Team initiatives and provide assistance to team members, tenants, and stakeholders as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Experiential Marketing, Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, Communications, Project Management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3+ years of professional experience in experiential marketing, event management, activations, placemaking, hospitality, community programming, project coordination, or a related field.
  • Experience managing multiple concurrent projects, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience coordinating vendors, contracts, budgets, and event logistics.
  • Willingness and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours as required by activation and event schedules.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Valid Michigan driver's license, if required for business travel.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Bedrock is an in-person, five-day-a-week workplace. All team members are expected to work on site Monday through Friday during standard business hours, unless otherwise specified by their role or designated shift. Some roles may have flexibility to work remotely on Fridays, based on the nature of the work and business needs. This flexibility is granted at the discretion of the Company and may be adjusted at any time.

Prolonged periods of sitting and computer use; occasional movement between buildings; ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
