About the role
Senior Acquisition Planner supporting CPE C2IN SEPM at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD.
Responsibilities
- Lead and facilitate daily planning efforts, including coordinating meetings, working groups, and synchronization forums.
- Develop integrated planning products that align operational requirements, capabilities, acquisition authorities, contracts, and funding.
- Integrate inputs from PMs, FCD, and unit representatives into cohesive, executable plans.
- Identify and resolve disconnects across requirements, contracts, funding, and program execution.
- Translate operational needs into actionable acquisition strategies and program plans.
- Analyze cost, schedule, and performance to assess mission impact and support PM decision-making.
- Support acquisition processes and documentation (APB, LCSP, TES, TEMP, ASRs, POM).
- Maintain knowledge management and collaboration tools to ensure visibility, transparency, and alignment.
- Draft CPE-level guidance and planning products for Government review and approval.
- Cookordination across Joint, Service, and operational stakeholders to ensure synchronized execution.
- Identify risks and dependencies; recommend and track mitigation actions.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in military operations planning, acquisition, or program management.
- Strong understanding of DoD planning processes (MDMP/JPP) and acquisition lifecycle.
- Experience supporting ACAT programs and analyzing cost, schedule, and performance.
- Strong coordination, briefing, and analytical skills.
- Active Secret government security clearance.
Qualifications
- Graduate of military planning programs (e.g., GCSC) or equivalent training.
- Experience in operational or staff planning roles.
- Familiarity with C2 systems or operational integration environments.
- PMP, DAWIA, or similar certification.
