Senior Accounting Processor

Duties And Responsibilities

• Daily application of live cash and lockbox exceptions to appropriate open receivables.
• Perform research on items when it’s not clearly identified where the money should be applied.
• Prepare refunds, write-offs and adjustments.
• Work weekly credit reports and daily unapplied cash reports.
• Oversee and process databases that are set-up for workflow efficiencies – Cash With Applications, Credit Card monthly installments and Refunds, Off-Sets.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required Skills

• Ability to communicate professionally with clients via phone and e-mail.
• Data entry and solid mathematical skills.
• Computer experience with the Microsoft office suite products (Word, Excel).
• Accounting knowledge, reconciliation experience helpful.
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and organize work with attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team, but also independently with minimal supervision.

Minimum Required Education / Experience

• 1 + years of office experience in customer service, accounting or finance work related experience.
• Experience in researching and resolving client transactions helpful.

Education: High School

Pay

$35,000 to $43,000 annually.
