SENIOR ACCOUNTING ANALYST - CSU MONTERAY BAY

Job Summary

This individual will assist with the end to end process of Electronic Accounts Payable within the company. This will provide the opportunity to initiate communication, ensure resolution of field issues, and respond to requests and questions related to the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead month-end close and prepare financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
• Perform variance analysis with focus on labor, food cost, and operating expenses
• Analyze and monitor labor costs in alignment with CBA (wages, overtime, premiums, and benefits)
• Support budgeting and forecasting, including union wage increases and contract obligations
• Maintain general ledger accuracy and strong internal controls
• Partner with operations to improve financial performance and cost efficiency
• Aid in audits and provide financial reporting to client stakeholders

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4+ years of accounting or financial analysis experience
• Experience in union environments and knowledge of CBAs preferred
• Familiarity with contract-managed services (higher ed or hospitality a plus)
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
