This opportunity provides exposure to a complex accounting environment and the ability to work across multiple entities and business functions.Role SummaryThe Senior Accountant will be a key individual contributor responsible for supporting accurate and timely financial reporting across the organization. This role will have hands on responsibility for month end and year end close, general ledger accounting, revenue and expense recognition, balance sheet reconciliations, fixed assets, and audit support.The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who takes ownership of their work, understands the full close cycle, and can effectively manage deadlines in a fast paced environment. This individual will also contribute to process improvements, stronger controls, and consistent accounting practices across multiple entities.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform month end and year end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedulesPrepare and maintain general ledger and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely mannerSupport revenue and expense recognition activities in accordance with U.S. GAAPCoordinate accounting and close activities across multiple entities while ensuring consistent application of accounting policiesPrepare schedules, workpapers, and financial analysis for internal reporting and external auditsSupport fixed asset accounting and maintain accurate supporting documentationPartner with internal stakeholders and external auditors to address accounting questions and audit requestsIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes, internal controls, documentation, and close efficiencyKey RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldStrong experience with general ledger accounting, financial reporting, and month end close processesHands on experience with revenue and expense recognitionStrong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting principlesExperience working with accounting ERP systemsAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysisExperience working within a large or complex accounting environment highly preferredStrong attention to detail, organization, ownership, and ability to independently manage recurring deadlinesPreferred SkillsNetSuite experienceCPA or master’s degreeMulti entity or multi subsidiary accounting experienceFixed asset accounting experienceExperience supporting internal or external auditsExperience identifying and implementing accounting process improvementsCall to ActionIf you are a hands-on Senior Accountant with strong general ledger, month end close, and revenue recognition experience who is ready to take greater ownership within a complex corporate accounting environment, we want to hear from you.
