Senior Accountant - SCAN Temp

The Job

The Senior Accountant - SCAN Temp is responsible for managing and overseeing client expenses, invoice reconciliation, and billing processes for government grants. This role also prepares month-end close, maintains journal legers, and ensures that all financial transactions related to grants are accurately recorded, compliant with GAAP and/or government regulations, and aligned with organizational policies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in grant or fund accounting and accruals is required.
• Experience in health care environment and related grant accounting is a plus.
• Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance, or related area required.
• Graduate or Advanced Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Technical expertise - Advanced analytical skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel including Pivot Tables and Formulas, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams), and Oracle Financials required.
